Anyone know if they are still in business?

I ordered a blade about a year ago and have not received it, nor have any of my emails been answered.

I understand the owner had some health problems.  Anyone do business with them recently?

Hope I am not out my $300 or whatever it was (so long ago I can't remember).

New member here but have been lurking for yrs.I also ordered a knife back in Feb of last year and have been unable to contact anyone there.Same question here if anyone knows if they're still in business or what happened to them.Actually ordered two,one got sent to the wrong address (USPS unable to deliver) and he sent it Fedex second time round.Didn't know if this one went to the wrong address again or if they were out of business due to health problems. Very nice knives and he seems to be a good man so I hope nothing has happened to him.

His profile shows that he renewed his membership a few days ago, and has been logging in as well.

Hopefully we'll get ours.I do know he states up to four months and law/military comes first so maybe that's what's up.The CPM Conquest he had "in stock" is a beautiful knife to the point it's a work of art.Warhog was special order and that's the one I'm still waiting on.

One year is a lot different than 4 months!

I'm willing to cut the guy some slack given his circumstances.  I'll even cut him a lot of slack if he needs it.

A little communication would go a long way in alleviating any worries of possibly never seeing the money or the knife.  Need more time?  Fine.  Just tell me you need the time.

BTW, I ordered the Resolve Mk VI.  Awesome looking knife and I know they have a good reputation.  Hopefully it all gets RESOLVEd soon.

ETA:  that Warhog is a great looking knife.

Jasun is a good guy and makes great knives, I have a Conquest MKIV made from CP154CM and a SEER. Both are really awesome. Keep trying to get ahold of him. I found e-mail worked the best when I was waiting for mine. Hopefully you guys get your knives soon.

He can be hard to get in touch with. One of my buddies ordered a knife from him.

That's kind of an understatement! I've tried phone with messages and e-mail a number of times with no luck so hoping he'll read this and reply here.

Bit of an update.

I received a reply to my email (through the site) after several attempts.  Blade should be ready in a couple weeks.

Jasun has had some serious health issues.  Like I said, I will cut the guy some bigtime slack.  No issues with me when extra time is needed--I just like to be informed if that is the case.

Hopefully all works out for fieldgrade2 as well.

Glad to hear you got a reply and I'm also keeping an eye out for the same.If I remember right mine was ordered feb 26 of 2013.I do know he has been ill and probably backed up with orders so no problem with that.A short e-mail informing that the knife has shipped might help since I've had a Busse that USPS marked over the shipping label with a marker with the wrong box number one time .I made them look for it because tracking said it was there. The Conquest I got is simply beautiful and he does great work.I told him back then that his knives would bring Busse prices one day lol. That Conquest is the favorite in my collection and for good reason!

Got a message saying it was about ready so that's great but can't believe what the man's been through and still filling back orders.I think even more of my Conquest now (as if the "work of art" thing wasn't enough).

I just want him to recover. Was mainly seeking acknowledgement and got it.If he's not able to get it done I completely understand.I'm sure he had forgotten about it after what he's been through because hell,I'd forgotten about it until reading this thread but my being 50yrs old caused that .If he's back up and running this setback will not stop me from ordering more from him.I'll try and get my girlfriend to help me post a picture of the one I have.

it really sucks that he is in ill health but he should at least have sent out an email to all the people he owes knives too to let them know what is going on and definitely should take his website shop offline so no more orders are placed until he can catch up.

Best wishes for Jasun to make a speedy and full recovery.

Ok, he's maybe not the best communicator. But he does make a helluva good knife. I have a SEER X and it's hands down my favorite knife. It's a fine cutting tool, way too easy to sharpen and it travels well. It's going to last several centuries.

Here's an idea for size. It was a bargain and I don't think he's done any more since the first run. The newest SEER knifes are more refined with attention to design and finish. The SEER X was an exercise in economy and utility.

That or have someone in charge of sending back some refunds...

Or hell, even a 10% discount.

If someone wants to pass this on to Jasun he might need to know that two people I know have filed complaints with the better business bureau. I didn't have anything to do with it but figured I would pass it on since he still seems to be running the business (at least his website is still accepting orders)
