Busse knives have always caught my attention for their strength, beauty, and durability.  I want to get a Gemini for my first one.  These are really expensive and from what i have seen on knifetest.com, practically indestructable.  Any suggestions much appreciated.

Don't lose it

I've owned many over the years, great knives. The knives aren't a traditional V grind but convex edges. You might want t do a search on maintaining a convex edge.

Be sure to post pics!

Most of the time you get what you pay for

but if you think they are a little to expensive go to Swamprat's site

http://www.swampratknifeworks.com/

Same family as Busse, just as good, priced much lower

Swamprat or Scrapyard knives are both owned by Busse's brothers.  They make some excellent knives also that are priced a lot more affordable.

I have one and think it was a waste of money, but I have not tried to chop off a tank turret with it or anything. I would be surprised if you could break an Esee short of using it as a throwing knife.

edit Don't get me wrong, it's a nice knife and I like my Ratmandu (great knife) and my scrapyard knives. But I think Esee is a better value.

edit mine is not a Gemini

I have a Busse Pork Shank, I plan on getting a TGLB as well in the coming months. Busse makes outstanding knives.
