Every year about this time I think about buying myself one for Christmas since the rest of my family is not all that keen on giving evil looking knives away as gifts. At least not since my dad passed on. 
So which is the best site to buy from? Himalayan Imports? Kukri house? I kind of like the Chukukri style - found here |

I have done a lot of homework and found that my first khuk is going to be a Himalayan Import. I've compared quality and they are heads above anything else I have seen. Head over to blade forums and they have a page under manufacturers. Everything about them seems like a great place to do business. I am just waiting for some extra coin so I can pick one up myself. The price may seem a little high at first, but when you add shipping from Nepal it pretty much equals out. HI ships from Reno. HI's warranty seems to be the best around as well. If you can shark a deal of the day, that is a score and a half! Just my .02 for ya.
