Does Busse ever go back and do more production runs or am I SOL for picking one of these up under $1k?

I've always suspected that 90 percent of Busse products end up as safe queens.

You will be hard pressed to find one under that price in new condition. Used may fetch a lower premium. I sold mine for $1k, it is pretty much the going rate. Custom Shop satin versions are hovering around $1,600-1,800.

That's Busses buisness model, and it sucks.

For $1000, get a custom one built to your specs by an actual sword maker.

Check out Godrilla47's thread in this section. It's not a Busse but his gladius is still fucking epic.

+1. It is amazing. I wish I had the need and the money for one. I just got my first knife made by him and it is impressive. A functional work of art.

Yep. You might have to wait a month or two though. He doesn't water jet like most other custom knife makers so everything is hand made. Ben is probably the best person I've worked with on ordering something custom and has so many options it took me a month of asking stupid questions just to decide.
