I like the Spyderco sharpmaker. Add the extra fine stones. A great system for about $70.

What they said ^

For a pocket sharpener to throw in a backpack or glovebox, I like the Smith's PP1.

I have been using DMT Diamond stones and then picked up a Spyderco Sharpmaker this last weekend.  I have to say that I really like the Sharpmaker but it is not for re-profiling, it is great for keeping an edge and touch-up though.
