I have owned one of these for over 30 years, bought for me at the PX by a friend . It is a terrific instrument! I don't "sharpen" with it, but it is unsurpassed for finishing a sharpening, or for touching up a nicked or slightly dull blade. And I mean, arm-hair-shaving sharp!
