Getting it as a gift, I've only purchased Benchmade for myself. Anyone know a good folder for that price? With a sheath, no matter the quality would be ideal.

Thanks guys.

If you can go with a clip the Speed Bump is an excellent knife & a great buy.

Columbia River Knife and Tool (CRKT) probably has something in that price range.  They usually make a good blade.

Cold Steel GI tanto really did well with the knife tests.com guy, and that's on the lower end of your price range but would require you to invest a little time in trashing the shit plastic grips and wrapping it with paracord because those grips are a crime against humanity.

Doc beat me to it. Buck 110. Not tactical by todays standards but a good blade just the same. I been carrying one for more years than I care to recollect and it has served me well.
I have others, but this is what I carry.

Gotta go with the Buck 110 as well. It is the original tactical knife. Wal Mart has the Kershaw "Crown" on sale for $10. You'll find a lot more knives in that range with a clip instead of a sheath.

With a sheath, the buck, it's hard to beat that classic.

Without a sheath, one of the kershaw made Ken Onion knives. They have several they sell quite inexpensively.
