Hi Ladies and Gents,
after reading a lot in here, I want to give you a "German Vision" of a good knife.

Herbertz, Böker or Puma are well known from most blade enthusiasts all over the planet.

But to let you know something special from the other side of the ocean, I want to introduce you a shooting star in the German knife scene.
Having his own design and created with support of some spec ops over here, this knifes have been tested and developed under the hardest conditions.

I´m talking about POHL FORCE.

http://www.pohlforce.de/produkte/messer/

The man - or "the head" - behind is Dietmar Pohl, who is a very nice and normal guy.
Being a knife maniac his whole life he started "going Pro" just a couple of years ago.

Ok, his knives are not the cheapest, but they are not ordinary too.
And it wasn´t my aim to come out with something ordinary in here, wanting to let you know that there are some serious knives coming from Germany too.

Cheers!

Sorry, I don´t think so.

What do you want to know?
I´ll translate for you.

What do you think of the pics?

The Alphas are the biggest knives, then come the Bravos and the Charlies.

One, two, three are the steps of developement.

Cool stuff. I love my Boker knives, and would like to have the Bravo 1 outdoors. Thanks for the link and Howdy from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Well, thanks!

And a "Salli" back, like we say in this part of Germany.

Every knife from POHL FORCE has its own number and is certified.
No knife leaves the factory without beeing controlled by Dietmar Pohl himself.
He subscribes the certificate of every knife.

The Alphas are in my opinion very big and are first of all built for military or police use.
The Bravos are smaller and more handsome.

I´m struggling to have the Bravo One Survival for EDC, probably on Christmas.

Made the link hot for ya.
Google translate tab is your friend!
I like that Charlie One Survival but 133 Euro puts it out of my price range.

Greetings Jay.

Some of us are already familiar with Pohl, and the brand has been discussed here before.  I like the Lima & Charlie models.

Hi guys,
thanks for making the link "cocked".

Well, yes, the knives are pricy.
Everyone must decide on his own what he wants to spend for "his" knife.
I´m looking since a while for a knife like the POHL FORCE ones getting cheaper.

Sorry if I told you old tales, wanted to present something "special".

Still reading in the blade forum here which is very exciting to me.

Greetz to all from Germany,
J.

There was a write up on these knives in one of the knife publications several months ago. (I believe it was "tactical knives") They gave the knife they reviewed good marks. I really like the looks of these knives.
