I got a request for a knife similar to one of my usual designs but with a few small changes. Specifically the buyer wanted it as a neck knife for fishing which requires a small change to ensure a secure enough hold in the sheath while hanging upside down. The other changes amounted to the usual customer preferences. Since it's fairly neat and not something we normally see commercially I figured I'd post it here.
The steel is 1/8" 1080, handles are 1/8" Ghost Jade Green G10, the lanyard is actually glow in the dark cord and the cord stop is a mini led light. Not super bright but I was impressed with it as a little light for finding or manipulating something at night. It also has a blinking mode which could be handy as an attention getter. The neck chain is the kind that breaks under excess pull so you can't strangle yourself. My only complaint with the whole setup is that the glow in the dark cord is slightly thicker and denser than regular paracord. It worked with my little clip to give a neat appearance at the ends, but barely. On the other hand, it's BRIGHT, you definitely can find this thing in the dark without a problem, which was the idea. I'm tempted to put a small loop on my keychain just to make it easier to find if dropped at night or on the dresser in the dark...

Sorry guys, the housemate was in a hurry so I couldn't talk her into something more appealing/revealing for the first pic. I'd reshoot but it ships out tomorrow morning.

Very cool OP.  I like it.  Thanks for sharing.

ETA:  I almost forgot, I really like the quality appearance of the cutting edge itself...very nicely done!

Thanks guys. I really liked it, though I prefer the slightly different handle profile I normally use. It's just not secure enough in the sheath for neck carry. I am definitely gonna find a use for more of that cord and the little LED's though.

I'm thinking a scary outline with it on the front door or something for Halloween, I've got about 20 feet left...

Wow, that looks great!  Could you make a sheath like that with a clip, or loops for belt carry?  How much would it cost/how long would it take, to have you craft one?

I just saw that there was a "new" reply here.
Ken, I'm assuming you're the Ken I got an email from? I'm finally back in my own house after the storm and should be back in the shop tomorrow or the next day.
