Got the idea from Top Shot, now I want to set up a place in my backyard to throw tomahawks.
Anyone got any suggestions for a good throwing/tactical tomahawk in the $50-$75 range? Thanks. |
| I've been looking at the SOG. I don't like buying things online without holding them first, but I really have to expectations here, just want something to throw at a tree wedge. A decent warranty would be nice since I know I won't be sticking it flush every time. |

Neither of those hawks are "throwing hawks" per se.
A good practice hawk will have a head that is not affixed to the shaft. This allows misaligned throws not to shatter your handle. Practice up with something cheap. Get 3 of these for 48 and learn the basics before buying something expensive that you don't want to beat up Throwing hawk for 15.99 |

And buy extra handles. Even the experts break handles from time to time. Novices break them regularly. |
