| Do any of you use them and if so which ones? |

I use this one even though I wouldn't consider it commercial grade it takes care of all my needs exceptionally well. It puts a razor sharp edge on a knife in about a minute or 2 the first time and after that it takes about 20-30 seconds to touch it up! The best sharpener I have used and well worth the money!

I've got a spyderco and apparently I'm retarded. Everyone said how easy it was to use and any dummy can get a fantastic edge, except me. I should sell it. |

The Spyderco Sharpmaker is the cat's ass. This. Or not so much Poor results? Based on ease of achieving a shaving edge and compactness, I don't think you can find one better. With that said, I have been trying my hand at convexing lately and am pondering a Wicked Edge system for the other tasks. I like the idea of a definite repeatable edge. |

On the Workshop sharpener, how do you keep from rounding the points of the blade? In the reviews it was stated that round over could be a problem, Just gotta be careful I guess. Pretty much this! Im pretty careful now but luckily my first knife I sharpened was an old POS so it didn't matter, but Ive been careful with my benchmades and Cases and haven't had a problem! |
