I finally had time this week to make a few knives. 8 to be exact. 2 have already been sold, but are similar to the ones in the pics. The third from the left still needs an edge put on it. All are 3/16" 1095, chisel ground. Aside from the one on the far left they are all around 7.5 to 8" long. There are a few including the one on the far left that the hardening line showed up really well so i just buffed a little after quenching and they turned out sweet. Thanks for looking.

Didnt put the pry on these. I only had so much steel and I didnt think i had enough time to order some more in. So i made the most of 2" stock steel that i had. The blades are about 1 1/8 tall, that way i could get four knives out of a peice of 2" stock 18 " long. When I get home next year im gonna make some with a pry on them and torture test them. I will be keeping one of these knives for myself and at the end of the tour i may torture test it to the breaking point to see what these can take. I will have the full report right here on arfcom.

And the third one from the left was a real bitch to get a good edge on, but i did it. They are all shaving sharp. I put a 30 degree edge on them and it seems a little thin but we will see in the next few months if they hold up well.

I really like the one in the middle with the green paracord. You said that you have sold several, are these knives for sale?

There was about 8 guys in my unit that wanted one and i made these this week for them. I leave sunday, so i wont be making anymore for about a year. When i get home next year im going to set up a website and start selling them.

Those look great, man.  The guys in your unit better hook you up with some nice amenities.
