So I bought on of these a few years ago when I was in college, and lost it (which is strange because I never lose things), so I bought a new one. This one has a different sheath, it has triple retention. There is the grip strap, guard strap, and a unique feature that clips the blade in the sheath by two raised indentations on the sheath backer that press against the guard. I'm still not to sure how I feel about the raised identations, they preclude a quick withdrawl.
