I bought myself a Stryker with the serrated blade.  I have never owned a benchmade so I dont know what to expect.

What do you think of the stryker, did I make a good choice

I don't have that model but I do have several Benchmade knives and they hold a edge really well. Well built too

I love my Stryker. First real quality knife I've owned. I carried it everyday until I got myself an Emerson. But I still carry it every now and again. Very smooth. Good knife.

I'm not a big fan of the Styrkers.  I love Benchmades in general though, my favorite knife company.

If you're anything like most of us Benchmade fans, be prepared to to spend alot of money.
I bought a BM 710 several years ago.......I now own six BM knives, and I'm considering buying two more. I guess you just can't get enough of a good thing!

I am also a Benchmade fan...however, I am wanting to get an AFCK.  Is there anything (besides the Redline Vex) that comes close to the blade profile of the departed AFCK?  I keep looking on ebay, but prices seem to be going through the roof on the AFCK.

The TSEK, 805 and 806. The 805 ususally only runs $100 or less, its 440C though but i like mine it gets razor sharp.

Two weeks ago I found a plain and serrated, both NIB. The vendor wanted $175 each + s/h/insurance. I offered $300 total for both to hit my doorstep. We settled on $320. Obviously more expensive than my original purchase two years ago, however they’re too fine of an “out of production” folder to pass up.

The 710 is a fantastic knife.  I had one of the firstregular production runs, when they still used G10 as the handle spacer.  Unforutnately I lost it, and while I do intend on getting a 710HS at some point (preferably without the comboedge), it's not the same with just Delrin as the backspacer.

My Stryker is one of my favorite knives. Pic with another favorite, Benchmade 690.

Both of these are designed by Allen Elishewitz who is a favorite of mine.
