I'm looking for some "pull-the-dot" belt loops to install on a sheath. I'm getting a CNC Bladewerkz semi-custom titanium tanto, and the sheath appears to not have any belt attachment on it. No big deal, since it actually leaves me open for a lot of options on attaching it to my person. I don't want to use a Teklok, since I want to sandwich the knife between my belt and my trousers.

I found them at Blade Tech, for $9.95, but they want another $10 for shipping! I'm not paying $20 for 2 freaking belt loops.

Anyone out there know of another source for some belt loops that won't overcharge me for shipping?

Please don't tell me that Blade Tech is the only place to get these....

looks easy to make...order in some kydex and a couple chicago style screws. You'd have enough to make probably 5-10 loops depending on how much kydex you get. use a hair dryer to heat the kydex to bend it over in a loop.

Kydex runs 6.50 for a sheet of 12"x12" for the .90 thickness which is .03 off from what blade tech appears to have on the site.

heres a website that i found when i googled kydex

I appreciate the heads up, but I've been working with kydex for a while now.

It's the belt loops that I'm after. The ones available from Blade Tech are not kydex, but more of a very flexible plastic, almost rubberized. They would attach with a chicago screw, and have snaps for ease of wear and removal from a belt.

I just really don't want to pay $20 for a $5 part.

I don't know if they have what you want, but they do have parts for Kydex sheathes.
