Designed to be worn behind the duty belt so the handle can be grabbed  even with a full duty rig on.
BTW, Tactical Defence Institute is putting on some knife defence classes, some for LEO's and even an Instructors class in West Palm Beach FL.  I want to go SO bad!

Nice thing about the pistol grip handle is that it looks like (Haven't tried it out yet) it could be worn "cross-darw" like so you could grab it strong side or weak side with either a forward or reverse grip.

Anybody have one?  There are some newer versions coming out soon (tanto point longer blades, etc)

I have one (no, I'm not a cop). It's a nice design & seems well put together, though the handle is a tad thin for my hands. Overall it's a pretty cool knife, particularly for the price.

I just looked them up, the larger models look very interesting... just what I need - another knife to buy.

Well I just orderd the plain edge and a trainer model (rounded blade and red handle) from Botach.com (I've ordered from them before and never had any problems) because they were the cheapest ($25 each).

Now I hope I can still get to the instructors class.  If not at least there's a 1 day user class in Lexington in June.

Great knife... I.ve carried mine now for about 6 months..... right behind my mag pouch on my support side.  Highly recommend it as a defensive tool when the sh.. really hits the fan!!!!

Gonna attend a "User" level class in Lexington on June 8th.  Hopefully I'll get some more insight in it's designed use.
