I was a little disappointed in my last randalls. There were still a lot of grind marks in the blade that should have been removed in the  polishing process. I know that I'm being picky, but I waited 4 years on 3 knives, and 2 of them I considered below par for a custom shop knife. I know randall builds knives to be "users", and the marks don't affect the usability, but if you wait 4 years and pay premium prices, you expect a premium product. Randall didn't even seem to care. "If  you don't like them just send them back and we will give you your money back"  I don't think so after waiting that long.
Even being disappointed, I will still prob buy more, as the investment alone is worth it. If you like a slightly smaller fighter, check out the 5" Combat Companion. It isn't in the standard catalog. It is a sweet little knife (just don't look at the blade too close under good light)!!

Yes, I ordered from Randall directly.

I think the Combat Companion will be my next order.  I'm going to order two identical ones, one for me and one for my son.  They should arrive just in time for his high school graduation.
