| Has anyone seen the fasteners on the Microtech knives? I have a MTX2 and I need to remove the pocket clip. It has a special fastener, like a 3 prong and one in center. Where do I get this tool?hug.gif |
| They look like tamper-proof tri-wing screws, pretty common in aircraft. I have a bunch of those in my toolbox from my airline days. If you have a magnetic screwdriver you may be able to use a tri-wing bit. As to where to find one, I have no idea. Google tri-wing bit and see what pops up. I'd be hesitant to buy something online though if you're not sure it will fit. Snap On or MAC may have those bits, or if you're lucky, maybe even Sears, Ace Hardware, Lowes, or Home Depot.
