I recently picked up an 82a1 and am looking for suggestions on ring height scope will be a 30mm tube Sig Sauer Tango 4. 4-16X44. Thanks for the help!

BARRETT ZERO GAP RINGS
13321 30mm, Low (1.0")
13322 30mm, Medium (1.1")
13323 30mm, High (1.3")
13324 30mm, Ultra High (1.4")

44mm objective will requires 1" physical clearance measured from scope centerline to edge of objective lens, but with 50BMG recoil the tube will flex.
Some air gap under the objective lens is not a bad idea.

This video shows just how much the scope tube can flex during recoil.

Yup, high rings.

The rings I listed with part number are direct from the BARRETT web store for $205.

They have good clamping pressure to handle the recoil.

I am more of a Seekins Precision guy when it comes to rings. Was also wondering if anyone is using a QD one piece mount like an ADM?

Just make sure whatever you buy they are rated for 50BMG.
The BARRETT rings are 1.2" width per ring .
Seekins are .80" width if I remember correctly.
The wider ring offers 2X the clamping force.
What can happen is after a few rounds the scope slides
inside the ring during recoil, gouge the shit out of or bend the tube.
Not a happy moment. I learned the hard way.

Badger Ordnance makes 50BMG rings too.

The only QD solution I looked at was from Larue.
The LT107 is 50BMG rated and it is also $300.

Yes I looked at the LT107 also but my 82a1 has the 27 MOA rail and the Larue has 30 MOA built in. I am worried I can not zero at 100 yards if I combine the two.
