Is it worth it to suppress a 50 cal? I have a 338 Lapua that I shoot suppressed and it makes a lot of difference in recoil as well as sound.
Is there a noticeable difference on the 50? Also what rifle would you recommend in a bolt action with mag? I sold a Barrett semi and
so I have the funds to get pretty much what I want. I was looking at the EDM, DTA, McMillan, etc.
Give me some suggestions, will most always be shot suppressed if it helps the 50 as much as it does the 338. Thought I could suppress the Barrett, found out differently after I bought it. Thanks for any advice!

You can suppress the Barrett. The M107 is designed for it.

Yes, the suppressors work!

Only the M107A1 is designed for a suppressor. The M107 and 82A1 need some internal work. Since you sold your M107, just buy the A1 with the Barrett suppressor.
