| I've acquired some WC 868 powder. I'm looking for some reloading data for this powder. I wish to reload some 50 cal rounds using 695 grain and 640 grain bullets. Would this powder be a good choice for the 338 Lapua? |
| It's better to start out with a lower load, try starting out at 205grs and work up from there. Another route you can use is to step up the loads, try a few at 205, 210, 215, 220.... Watch for pressure signs as you work up the loads and check the accuracy for changes in the grouping. You'll find that you don't need to max out the load to get good accuracy. Plus maxing out loads will only beat you up and shorten brass life. |
