I'm about to fire myfirst reloads for my AR50 and have been thinking. Is it worth it to shoot out back at 100 yards? Can you see a good load vs. a bad load that close. With my 308 & 223 you can, & I can still get data as far as f.p.s. & extream spread. But we all know thats not enough and isn't good enough by is't self. Can you have a bad group at 100 yards with this round? It would seem like 300 would be better but I have to drive and pay for that.

BTW load is: psd brass, 750 a-max, 215-221 of H-50, cci#35, coal 5.75"

221 is good, don't change other components or specs.
Weight sort cases and bukkets, lowest to highest, and shoot.

Try to get Standard Deviation down to as low as possible, under 7 fps, and accuracy will be repeatable at longer ranges.

Shooting at 100 yards = TRIGGER TIME which is the most important training lesson on a 50.
