I have been sitting on my precious amax bullets too long. Gonna start exploring some actual accuracy rounds and would like to know if there are some good base line for H50BMG. I have been loading 213gr of surpluss 5010 over 690gr black tips and getting at or under 2"  with my BGA viper.

Gonna be using PMC  brass and I have sorted my AMAX by weight.

218 gr of h50 was the sweet spot for my rifle
most people find this a good load give or take a few grains
SO
start at 214 and work up 222 or so in 2 grain increments
im sure youll find youll end up somewhere in the middle

ive heard of a few people running amax HOT like 228 gr of h50 hot but thats a rareity
it all depends on the harmonic whip of your barrel

I personally shoot 225 gr of h50bmg under amax's.  Its a stout load, but is sub moa in my bohica upper.  With a recoil pad its not bad, either.

In my AR50 I've had some good groups with both 220gr of H50 and 226 of H50.  These were sub moa at 200 yds but I need to tweak it a little and shoot them again to confirm.

I was told to start around 215 of H50 and work up.

Mine likes 215 grains H50BMG and 218 grains. It shoots the same size groups with both. I started at 212 ansd worked up
