| Let me apologize if this is the wrong place, seemed to be several places I could have put this, I choose the actual 50 cal forumn. I wondered if anyone had seen in the Mil, or Civ, side a cover for a weapons system like the M2. Something that would attach front and back, allow the trigger to function, and the ammo to feed if the weapon needs to be used, but provides a dust/dirt barrier. Maybe something that velcro'd around the weapons body? Thoughts? |

What would be the intended purpose?
I've not used a Browning .50 in a desert environment, but on the other hand I've never heard any particular complaints about Browning's design with regards to dust and debris entering the action. Most anything that gets into the feed tray is either going to fall out the sides, or drop down through the ejection port. |
