Harder to form brass than the .50dtc cartridge, so just as expensive as match .50BMG in the end.
Lighter bullets (~400gr) results in longer supersonic flight, but less energy on the target than a heavy ~800gr .50 load can do. Bullet selection for the .50s (.510") is better. You might want to look at getting a .50DTC rifle as an option to the .50BMG too. Most of the major big gun mfg. offer DTC rifles as well as .416s |
