Gents,

What would be a fair price for the following:

NIB - Barrett 99 Dark Earth 32" 50 BMG, Bushnell Elite 3200 fixed 10x scope, Barrett scope rings, factory bipod, dark earth pelican case

100 rounds API (lake city)

80+ rounds AP (lake city)

10 rounds 750 gr A-Max Match (HSM)

10 rounds 750 gr A-Max Match (unknown mfg)

10 rounds 750 gr solid brass hollow point bore rider (unknown mfg)

10 rounds 800 gr solid brass FMJ (unknown mfg)

I'm planning on posting on the EE but wanted some honest input for fairness on both the potential buyer's and me the seller's part.

Thanks!

Not real up on the Barret stuff, but I would guess for everything you got there, $4500ish.  Local gun store has a Barret 99 with a price tag of $4250 on it but it's been there a LONG time.

Think $3600 for the weapon/scope/case.  Less if you want to move it quicker.

The AP/API @$3/ea or $540 for all.  I bet is remanufactured ammo and that may be pushing it a little.

The others at $4/ea or $160.  Although since you don't know who made them, maybe less.

I would  try to sell the gun and give the buyer the right of 1st refusal on the ammo.  Sell it ala carte if they don't want it.

www.gunbroker.com....start the auction at $1.00 and let the market set the deal.

Hard to tell what the ammo's worth...in my opinion, if you don't have solid provenance, it's worth about $1.50 per round since i'd have to pull it apart and salvage the components, other than the powder.

Gun, case, rings and scope probably around $3500 or so, like the other gent says.  Check the "SOLDS" on Gunbroker and you'll have a solid idea.
