Gents, I finally got my BOHICA finished this week.  It is a MKIII with 30 inch fluted barrell, OD green hand guards, Essential Arms lower, DPMS parts kit, Magpul PRS stock, Ergo grip, Yankee Hill EZ Pull take down pins, and of course a Wolff heavy spring.  I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but thought I would share some pics.  Thanks to Slug-o for making me a good deal on the upper!  Oh, and yes the scope sucks, but it is the only one I have right now.  I hope to be getting a Super Sniper soon.

Nice!

I hope those rings and scope are just for show?  Looks canted.

+1
Love the two colors. Really sets off the metal parts having green furniture. And I will have to jump on the bandwagon about the rings. I see that after a few shots the rings will shear the single screw on the ring caps and have the scope come flying off during recoil. Cant really see the clamping part of the rings to the rail. But I suspect that it also uses a light weight screw of some sort. That will not hold up to the recoil of a 50 BMG.. When selecting hardware to mount on a 50 BMG rifle. I suggest that you select items built for a tank.

Nice!  I like it!
Mine showed up three weeks ago, haven't shot it yet.
I tried but it wouldn't set off the primers with the stock hammer and Wolff heavy spring.
I have a Jard heavy hammer kit on the way.
I'm going to put mine a Bohica single shot lower with a Magpul PRS stock.

Again the scope and rings were just for looks....I just had them laying around.  Hopefully I will get a new one in a couple of paychecks!

What kind of parts kit did you use?  I haven''t shot mine yet either, but I used a DPMS kit.

Shot mine for the first time on Thursday.  After the first shot, I couldn't get the bolt to go back and eject the spent casing.  I hit it hard with the bottom of my palm.  After the 10 hit, the bolt handle snapped off at the bolt.  Now I've got to go get a dowel to shove down the barrel to see if I can at least pound the bolt out so I can send it back to be fixed.

Standard chamber and shot a 660 gr. American Eagle.

Mine stuck the first round also. I have 16 rounds fired now and it has gotten much better. 2-3 stuck out of the 16 but they were much easier to remove than the first one.

The Barska bit the dust on the 16th round

How did it fail?  I have a 300+ round count under mine.

It's now completely out of focus, the parallax knob doesn't move anymore and it has some parts or something rattling around inside.

Also haven't received a reply from Barska yet.
