| If i purchase new winchester primed brass, do i need to do any sizing or trimming? And if i do, then how do i size with the new primer in there? would the decapper mess with the new primer? |

If you use an RCBS press and die kit, you just remove the decapping pin from the expander ball and size as you normally would.
If you use a LEE press and die kit, you need to order another decapping stem from Lee and grind off the pin. The LEE dies have a solid machined piece that functions as a decapping stem, decapping pin, and expander ball. I use TZZ 94 brass and it all came primed. Initially I had a LEE press so I just ordered one of the stems from them and ground off the tip. Cost $15. They'll send it in a few days. Now I use the RCBS kit so whenever I break into my TZZ 94 stash that is unfired, i'll just remove the pin. And yes, you need to lube and size it, even though it's new brass. Be sure and wipe off the lube thoroughly since you can't tumble off the lube without potentially ruining the primer. (I normally tumble off lube.) Also, I strongly suggest Imperial Sizing Wax for 50 BMG case lube. It's sometimes seen as Redding Sizing Wax. For the inside of the neck when using primed brass, go with powdered MICA, available from midway in a tub, a lifetime supply for most. -David Edgewood, NM |

Since the lubing is happening after basically the case is already primed, what is the best way to clean the lube? |
