I have been looking for a Lower receiver to put on a ferret I will be ordering in the next couple weeks.

I have looked at the one made by ferret with the mono pod. It is beautiful but I cannot spend over a thousand on a lower and stock.

I have also looked at these guys: Rouge 50 billets lowers. They also make a good looking receiver but after comparing it to the DPMS CA lower receiver it looks almost the same.

Now I think I have come to a decision but wanted to see where I could find the California legal DPMS lower receiver for a decent price.

It's nice, just be sure you change out the hammer so the bolt will work with it properly.

Thanks,

Just when I thought I had it narrowed down you add more to the mix.

I use a standard STAG ARMS lower ($89 + ship) on my ALS.  Works just fine.

I made the stock from steel, and the lower from a forging.
