Have you checked Wideners or Pat's Reloading? K&M makes a primer pocket uniformer, buy a chamfer at your local hardware store to remove the primer crimps. If you have a piece of brass w/o a primer take it with you, get a chamfer that just touches the edge/rim of the primer pocket. When you remove the crimp you only need to remove a small amount of material, don't go crazy or you'll ruin the brass. I'll post the number for K&M when I find it or one of the other guys might beat me to it. All I can say is that Ken is one hell of a guy that treats his customers great. |

CCI Primers Here is a link to Wideners, but unfortunately they are out of stock right now. There was a guy in the EE selling a couple of boxes of 500. |

Here's the link to Hi-Tech Ammo, it shows they have primers. www.hi-techammo.com/ |
| Thx alot guys for the info. I have checked Pats and Wideners and they are both out of stock. I have some on order here in Colubus, Ohio but they are not in yet. I am trying to only buy about 200 to 300 if I can because shooting a single shot 50, thats alot of shooting. Anybody want to sell a couple hundred primers?? Thx again |
|
I was the same way as you. Only wanting to buy a few hundred. Well I could not find any place locally that sold them a hundred at a time. After I figured that this was not going to work. I found a semi local place that sold them in a box of 500. Fortunely it was do able to drive to them and save on the Haz-mat fee and of course the shipping fee. You might as well figure you are going to have to bite the primer and buy them in a box of 500 unless you find a reloading store that will carry them and you can buy them 100 at a time. BTW the place I mentioned is Hi-Tech and they are great guys. And 50 already gave you the link. |

I am in Ohio, I have 9,000 primers here at $200 per thousand. If I do not hear from a fellow tonight they are up for sale as well as 1,000 AMAX. Nick Primers all sold, next batch will be here in Feb. [email protected] |
| K&M doesn't have a website but places that sell their stuff usually have pics. Try searching for them on www.lockstock.com to check them out. |

I don't know where to find them now, but I'd say that when you do, buy enough to last you for the rest of your shooting life. Once you know the type you need, buy 5-10k of them and keep them in your safe. The price is relatively minor when compared to the shipping and hazmat charges. I've only got 1k, and I'm kicking myself. |
| Hazmat is only a small part of the reason you want to buy all you can at this time. Unless the market drops it's price (something done rarely). The price is only going to go up. Example, and I am not picking on this supplier, they all are doing it. In about mid-October I bought 1K of the CCI-35 primers. Then it was 200 bucks, just last night I went to Hi-Tech and see that they have raised the price to 215 bucks. If you had bought 3K back in October, you shipping and hazmat would have been free compared to todays price. |

Well folks, I will have an order for 100,000 CCI primers coming in the first week of Feb. They will go for $200 per thousand. Nick [email protected] |
