WOW!  It looks worth the wait.

I had no idea they made those for .50BMG.  Thanks!

Good Luck with it.

What's the overall length of that suppressor? Weight?

You know? That by this post you are now expected to give a range report. If MO. repeals a ban on suppressors, I am going to have to get one for my future 50.  Yes, I too would like to hear more about it. Length, weight and how much did it set you back. Along with your take on how much did it knock down the report. Oh, and how did it effect felt recoil.

Mean time, that is one sweet looking suppressor.

I have so far been able to suppress the desire to order one for my 50.  This thread isn't helping.

The can slides on & sits over the barrel. Heres a pic without the can:

3" OD by 22.5" OAL? HOLY CRAP that's a huge suppressor. 7 1/2 lbs, too? Wow. Talk about overbuilt/properly made for tough use!

Thanks for the specs.

That is a bad ass looking package you have put together. What kind of rifle is that?

I am thinking of eventually getting a second 50 barrel for my EDM that is profiled for a suppressor.

I think it is funny that you are able to own that evil destructive rifle but so many other guns are banned for you.

Will wait for the range report

Aren't the Reflex suppressors made in Europe and thus can't be imported?

hello. here is a picture of mine. it is a LAR GRIZZLY with a SOUND TECH silencer. ( mark white )

specs on the silencer are as follows:

12 inches in length
2 inches in diameter
weight is 5 lbs
thread diameter of 1-1/2 inches!

no need for hearing protection! ( yes, its that quiet! )
decible tested at 140 decibles, unsuppressed ruger 10-22 is 141 decibles at the muzzle
quieter than a 22!
with silencer, actually doesnt even sound like a gun. there is a big wwwhhhooossshh sound and you can easily hear the bullet strike the plate.

eliminates 100% of muzzle flash and blast!
increases recoil slightly.
price was 1500 with 200.00 tax.

fired many many rounds through it. matter of fact, the only time gun is shot without it, is when someone says,  ( LETS PUT THE LOUDNER ON IT! )

Thanks Kirk for that report and pic of one hell of a nice looking 50. Good paint job too, but need to do the can also. When you say that the recoil is just slightly more. What kind of brake did you have on it before the can?

Thanks for sharing.

hello. the recoil is compareable to maybe a 12 guage slug? i had an eight year old shoot it before. knocked him off the stool he was on, but he said it didnt hurt! ive got the standard muzzle brake that comes with it. it is the only 50 i have shot, so i really cant compare it to any other 50. another guy on bigger hammer said to him, the grizzly kicked the hardest of four 50s he fired. ( barret, armalite, serbu )

ive shot as many as 25 rds in one day and it didnt bother me at all. my 10 inched benelli kicks far harder and hurts compared to  my grizzly.

i had thought about painting the silencer also, but i keep waiting for my scope to break. then my new scope will be all black and match the silencer and grip and bi-pod.
believe it or not, the scope is a 8 to 32 tasco target model. its all i could afford when i bought the gun!

everyone said it would break immediately, but no bullshit, it is over 8 yrs old and after hundreds of rds, it still is right on the money!
i cant belive it either as i paid only 125.00 for it new.   kirk

No shit on the scope!! I just might be light on funds after buying my 50 (still in the saving so I can pay cash, stage). So, I will try my tasco target scope too. To date all I have had a chance to shoot is the AR-50.  We here in MO are jealous of you all who can get cans.

Thanks for the reply and keep your fingers crossed that we too in MO one day soon will be able to reduce the noise and save our hearing. We got to get the politicals to see it's all about the children. And saving their hearing. LOL
