Funny thing I got one today as well... :)

One problem, concern.. the shipping box from Armalite is a complete dog. That middle piece of cardboard came loose and the gun was free floating in that big cardboard box.. :(

It looks ok though...

I'll be needing some optics for mine, dunno what I'm gonna put on it yet...

edit to add the price..  mine was 2700 out the door, 2488 without tax...

Now that's an idea.

Hank & I were holding out for a Bushmaster XM-50, but Jarrod wouldn't build us one so I had to jump ship on the idea and go with an Armalite.

damn it, and i just paid off a credit card too...

looks sweet!

Hank, now you have ever reason to buy one.

It is advertised as 34lbs, but the information that came with the gun said it was 41lbs

Oh you bastard, you just had to go and make us all jealous didn't you?   :-)

Congrats man, I know you will very much enjoy that.  I will be in the market for a .50 as soon as I can afford it.  I've been thinking Barett 99, but that is a crisp grand more than the ar50 (I think.) , so I might need to rethink.

Very nice indeed.  And the best part is, as soon as you fire it, you won't have any shooters for 20 feet in any direction of you.

What are you paying for this scope? I might want to use it myself for my ar50 as well. The only pricing I can find on it is about $1200, but, they seem to not stock it any longer. Can you provide a source and price..

Thanks
