APIT ammo question > 50 Cal

Does shooting APIT ammo have any adverse effects on a bolt action rifle, in particular a M99? Do you guys shoot this ammo(obviously in a non fire prone area)? Do ranges let you use it? I was thinking about getting some as a future investment especially with the Dems in.

Ditto. Never a problem in my Armalite, shoot it frequently, and my range is uncontrolled so its up to the shooter's discretion.
