I'm considering buying a LAR Grizzly over the internet.  It appears as though you have to take off the buttstock and load a round in the back, put the butt back on and then lock the bolt.  Is that right?  It sounds akward and slow, but I didnt see a breech slot anywhere on the weapon.

The Grizzly is a shell holder rifle so the bolt must be removed from the gun for loading. I don't know how this is accomplished.

www.largrizzly.com/bigboar.htm is the website and the manualfor the rifle can be found in PDF format there.

I already decided against it.  I just realized that the bolt handle is only an inch from the buttpad.  I'm a lefty.  That would hurt alot  :(

Me too.  That's why I intentionally included bolt information in the tacked BMG price list thread.  Check it out if you haven't already.  There are other single shot rifles in that price range that are more lefty friendly.
