There was a recent one about the 416, but I can't seem to find it. I have a 50 and I can't see why anyone other than Kali would want one. Unless you need the extreme performance. 50 ammo is alot cheaper and available from more than one source. I am sure it is a nice rifle and definately a high performance round. Sorry I can't be more help. |

I don't even count the 416 as "extreme performance". Supersonic to 2500 yards? Big freaking deal, match 50BMG can extend the supersonic flight range to 2200 yards as opposed to the 1800 which Barrett is touting for 50BMG with M33 ball. How nice of them to use deceptive tactics to promote that barrel burning glutton that is the 416. A 510DTC is ultimately smarter and more logical for a person trapped in California. Not sure how many of the 416s will sell but I doubt it will be many. |
