I didn't vote in your poll, you're comparing apples to oranges. The AR-50 will out shoot an M82 all day long and leave you less for wear.

I shot a 12" group at 1000 yards using Talon ball when I first got my AR-50, an M82 would be lucky if it could pull off a 20" group using the same ammo.

Mine has been 100% reliable, no problems. As far as recoil goes, the first time I shot it I had to open the bolt to make sure it fired. Maybe it was the rush of shooting it for the first time but I never felt it. The AR-50 has the least amount of felt recoil out of any .50 currently on the market, the muzzle blast will clear your sinuses though.

thanks for the reply, im goin back and forth on what one to buy, i know the semi-auto would be alot of fun, but the armalite is so much cheaper and it seems like it is a pretty damn good gun. i think it would be better to go with the armalite for the accuracy and the price difference.

I'll second the part about recoil. I shot mine for the first time today and the last thing on my mind was recoil.

I have shot both and the AR50 is a MUCH lighter recoiling rifle. It is a pleasure to shoot.
