| what kind of accuracy should i expect with military ball ammo out of the AR-50? and how reliable are they?,and how much recoil? |

I didn't vote in your poll, you're comparing apples to oranges. The AR-50 will out shoot an M82 all day long and leave you less for wear. I shot a 12" group at 1000 yards using Talon ball when I first got my AR-50, an M82 would be lucky if it could pull off a 20" group using the same ammo. Mine has been 100% reliable, no problems. As far as recoil goes, the first time I shot it I had to open the bolt to make sure it fired. Maybe it was the rush of shooting it for the first time but I never felt it. The AR-50 has the least amount of felt recoil out of any .50 currently on the market, the muzzle blast will clear your sinuses though. |
| thanks for the reply, im goin back and forth on what one to buy, i know the semi-auto would be alot of fun, but the armalite is so much cheaper and it seems like it is a pretty damn good gun. i think it would be better to go with the armalite for the accuracy and the price difference. |
I'll second the part about recoil. I shot mine for the first time today and the last thing on my mind was recoil. |
