| I think its an SSK. .460 Weatherby, necked up. Half the powder of the BMG, 88% of the power. Anyone know more? |

The rifle costs more then most of the entry level .50's (approx $3,500) and doesn't have the same power. Thus it's obsolete in my book, why spend more for less??? You'll have to make your own brass from 460WM, which isn't cheap or buy it from SSK Ind. You can get Mil. Surplus .50 BMG brass for .16 cents and reload it for plinking. IMI .50 brass which most consider the best is $1 a piece. Like I said, why pay more for less??? Sure the .50 peace keeper is a nice little package but when you compare it to a full size .50 BMG, there's no comparison. There was an article on it in the March issue of Gun World if you want to read more on it. |
