Thoughts?

Cool, more options for the SCAR.  Now why would you spend 1200 for a lower and barrel, when you can buy a whole rifle for half that?  Its like training for Mr. Olympia but only eating twinkies.  Hopefully he doesnt let this one out until all the bugs are worked out, then it will work out better.

It's cool, but until a commercial version is on the verge of release I won't hold my breath.

I would pick up a 16 if they would make a 6.5 G conversion for it... The idea of changing the .308 scar receiver to an intermediate caliber is dumb though.

On the Handl FB page says there will be complete guns and conversions. I wonder how many people would be willing to take on a AK conversion?

I would love a 300Blk for my 16 and maybe a 6.5G.

It appears Recoil is taking a look. Is there any real true multi caliber system out there?

They need to do a 6.5C for the 17S

Would also like the 7.62X39 option....

Would seem the biggest issue for doing changes would be having barrels produced. The 17S boltface and magazine is already perfect for 7mm08, 243, 338-08. Be interesting to maybe have a 44 AutoMag barrel made up and lengthen the brass out to 445 SuperMag OAL......that'd be a fun little toy.

Make it cost effective or I won't even consider it.

$1000 to shoot 7.62xcommie when I can just buy an AK for $500?
