Just picked up a SCAR 16S yesterday and this is a new platform for me. Anyhow I'm doing some shopping and getting the new stick ready for. Well ya know anything that may happen. What kind of slings are you running on your SCARs? I'm a 2 point sling guy on my ARs so I'm thinking I will want to go that route. Anyhow give me some options please.

Also here is a pic of the new boomstick. I slapped on a Leupold VXR on it to get it to the range. I'm still up in the air about what optic to buy for it. I like a little magnification but also want to be able to use it for CQB and I want lightweight. ANy suggestions?

I have been using a Specter Gear two point quick adjust with HK clips on my SCAR since the day I got it. No complaints.

Might look at the V-Tac padded 2 point sling, I run those and like them.
I use H&K hooks on my SCARs but Parker Mountain Machine makes some nice QD sockets for the SCAR.

I use a Blue Force Gear VCAS on all my rifles.

Another necessary upgrade for SCAR's is a Geissele trigger - the stock one is heavy.

Agreed on the trigger upgrade...I have aimpoint pro on mine as well

The way of the gun sling by Frank Proctor works perfect for it.

I ended up putting an Aimpoint PRO on it. I can't believe the difference in recoil between this gun and my ARs in recoil and smoothness. I'm hooked on my SCAR!!

If you flip the mounting knob of the Aimpoint to the other side your knuckles will thank you.
