The feedback I've read so far is good. I've got one on order which is due to arrive any day.
One of the main selling points of the FN is that it is a drop in part. Compare this to the cost of the CDI bottom metal, cost of shipping and having your stock properly inletted, and the cost of a couple of AI mags. The cost of the FN doesn't seem so bad then, not to mention you aren't permanently altering your stock and can return it to it's factory configuration at any time. |

I just installed the conversion a couple of weeks ago. I really like it. The mags drop free with the push of the mag release. The bullets feed nicely. Shot a competition last week with it and everything worked perfectly.

http://flic.kr/p/dfYyVAHere is a photo. Rifle started as a FN PBR XP. I had a Krieger MTU 1 in 12 chambered with a Manson 852 reamer installed. The action was trued and blueprinted, bolt lapped and custom bolt knob installed. I then added a Manners T5 stock and a 5-20 SS HD scope. It will shoot. |
