Is there room for the front sight to be folded down or is it fixed once the rail is in place?

It was designed to allow the front sight to operate as normal.

Can you remove the piston for cleaning with that rail extension installed?

Yes, and the ability to quick change barrels is unaffected.

Cool thanks very much. I ordered one assuming all would remain normal, but the. Pics i was seeimg only showed it up. I already ordered it and already tore down my rifle for installation so now im once again excited to get it and install it. Blue threadlocker for the yoke screws on the bottom rail or red?

" The PWS SRX (SCAR™ Rail Extension) is a quad-railed aftermarket extension rail for the FN SCAR series rifles. The SRX adds 5” to the length of your Picatinny rails. The top rail is 2.7” long and allows the use of flashlights and other accessories to be mounted at the 12 o’clock position without interfering with your sights or optics. Finally, the SRX features 2 QD sling swivel points positioned on the sides of the rail.
An extension rail for the SCAR 16s, SCAR17s, SCAR L, and SCAR H"

Just not sure on the loctite to use on the bottom rail. I'm thinking red. Seems like a nice product for under 200 bucks.
