Took the FS out recently and noticed that I would often have to hand-cycle the gun to keep firing.  When I took the gun down a bit, I noticed that the spent cases were still stuck against the bolt face.  I could pull the cases off and once I wiped the bolt down a little (thinking that oil was causing a gunk-up), the gun started running okay... for about 10 rounds.

I was shootin' pretty cheap crap ammo (steel), but my Hartford Ponies were eating it up just fine.

Suggestions?

Is your gas regulator on the correct setting?

Check to see if you have a ton of gunk/lube on the piston, make sure the boldface is dry, and like the poster above me said make sure the gas setting is at 12 o clock unless it's underpowered ammo

I have only had problems with mine when I got dumb one day and bought those cheap crap green coated steel cased rounds.  It would misfeed and double feed.  Problem solved,  I changed mags to the brass ammo and never had a problem again.  I am selling the 190 rounds that are left.  I wont buy cheap again.
