[ARCHIVED THREAD] - PWS Rail question

Can anyone tell me if attaching the PWS SRX rail to the SCAR series requires you to keep the OEM side rails attached? I intend to detach mine but am considering the PWS because i want a longer handguard and would prefer the rail space farther forward.

You can remove the factory rails when using the PWS rail extension.

Can the bottom rail be removed on the SCAR?
Out of all the picks I haven’t been able to see the bottom rail up close

IIRC, yes. The attachment bolt will protrude though.
