Guys is 960 OTD a good price for an OD green PS90 with tri rail no optic?

No box, no manual just the rifle.

Minor storage marks on the barrel and the ejection shoot has very light wear.

Thanks,
Max

I would take it for that.

That's a really, really cheap price. Buy it!

Got one today new in box for $900.00. It had a couple of Scrathes and scrapes. But who gives a crap for that price.

No it's terrible.  You should not buy it, and instead forward the information to me so I can discuss it with the seller.

They seem to go for 1300-1500 on GB for new or near new, so that's an excellent price.

I'd snatch one up for that price, but 1300-1500 is too high for my blood for as simple of a rifle as this.

Well guys, I put it on layaway.

I have the cash, just not in a hurry and it is easier to sneak past the wife when I pay in installments.

I looked it over again and it is in pretty good shape.  Now I gotta find an optic.  Any recommendations?

I have looked thru many, many optics. I like the XPS Eotech the best> Smallest footprint,a nd best reticle. I personally don't like those small 1 dot sights.

With the XPS, you can squeeze a Unimax Lasermax laser in front of it on the optic rail if you like.

I'd do it. It's a good deal.

Have a T1 on a LaRue mount on mine. Love it this thing points so well.

I have an Aimpoint with Ras2 (the shortest) Larue mount on mine.  Great price for a very fun to shoot rifle.

As stated above, that's a great price for it.  I posted some pics in the Bullpup forum on different sights for a PS90.  I tried a lot of them and ended up with a Compact ACOG 1.5x16.  One of the reasons I like it is with a lo-pro ACOG mount it sits lower than any other optic I tried.  Here's a single pic, here's a link to the rest: Bullpup Forum

I looked at a 1.5 small Acog last week - one with a red fiber optic. It is very nice.

However, do these cheaper, 1.5 acogs have tritium in them? When I covered the fiber optic, I just saw the black reticle.

Not sure if it's cheaper, but mine, a TA44-2 has both:

How old was the one you looked at?  the tritium could be out/dead.  Just a guess on my part.

I would give that 950 today for that rig.   It is just what Im looking for.

Damn I have had no luck hunting for a PS90.

oh well time will tell.

It was a brand new one. I'll have to check it out again.

This is the one I wanted - the text on the trijicon site also didn't mention any tritium...

I don't think we have the same definition of "new in box"...

Duh... yes, thanks for that. I missed it

It sucks that ya spend all that $ and ya still have to buy a separate mount. I don't really want to spend a fortune on a larue mount (to mount it on a rail).

Got a link to the PS90 specific mount from that photo above?

Never mind, I found it here:

SInce you have to call to order one - what was the service like? Did they send it right away?

I agree the mount thing sucks...

I got the mount from a fellow arfcom member when I gave up looking for one to buy and posted an ad for suggestions.

I wanted a TROS one, and still do, but they didn't have any and were unsure if they would make any in the near future.  There are a few other member that would like them, so plz post your finding after speaking with them.

OK. After posting that and doing some reading via google, I do see that the last word is that there are none.

When my 2nd PS90 comes in next week - I'm just trying to decide if I wanna pay the cash for an Acog or not. I could sell the USG for some of the money - but its a lock of dollars for an ACOG. I want a non powered optic on this 2nd one (I have an XPS on my current PS90). I'll probably play with the USG sight a few times and then decide.
