So far not impressed with FNH's warranty inspection/service timeframes.

- went to range with 2-week old SCAR on April 18
- encountered that SCAR started "doubling" rounds
- packed up rifle and went home
- emailed/called FNH and informed them of problem
- received email/call to send rifle to service center
- Customer service rep at FNH sent UPS sticker/form right away (kudos to Bob Ailes, he's doing a great job in my experience so far)
-  Sent in rifle to Arnold, MO service center on April 20.
- Was received by the service center on April 23-
- Has seen his rifle have 0% progress in the last 3 weeks of sitting at their shop for service

I sent it in because of a warranty issue that I would have hoped FNH would have been VERY CONCERNED with, what with BATFE class 3 connotations and such.  I have owned the rifle for less than a month before I sent it in.  Their service center reps are no more helpful than an answering machine, giving me a canned "we're running 4 weeks" estimate.

I thought I was buying quality with my SCAR, with the pricetag it has.  Turns out true customer service is not included.

caveat emptor.

If and when week #4 elapses I will take a drive to Arnold and go get my rifle, service or not.

I feel your pain brother.  I bought mine and picked it up from my dealer on March 25th the stock latch was broken on shipping.  Talked to Bob and the authorization to return the stock was same day no questions asked.  Sent the stock back and have been waiting since.  They received it March 29th.  Have called multiple times in Arnold MO and they just keep telling me that the part is back ordered.  So now I have a kick ass $2,150 paper weight.  It seems that the service stops once it is shipped into the Black Hole of Arnold.

You will then be in possession of an un-registered machinegun. Fail.

True that.  I'm just very frustrated.

Involve Bob Ailes again.

I waited A YEAR to get a new trigger pack for my FS2000.  I stayed in constant contact with Bob about every couple months (they had no fix for light primer strikes at first) and unfortunately my gun did some sitting and not shooting for awhile.  Finally he said they had a "new" trigger pack going in the new guns and I convinced him to get me one out of the production line run.
Stay on their ass and Bob will take care of you-he sent me a hat and T-shirt to boot.  Good luck

Bob got back to me today.   Looks like Brown Sugar will be heading for home by the end of next week.  Keeping my fingers crossed...
