Does anyone know how this is done?
I tried to get an answer from FNH USA, but the response from the "Customer Support Manager" was: "Do you have a manual? The instructions are start on page 28." or, in other words, RTFM page 28.  Gee thanks.
My manual page 28 is instructions on how to adjust the backup sights... Is there a manual specific to the rifle shipped w/ factory optics or?? Thank you everyone. |

Remove shroud. Remove two bolts holding claws to rail.
Are you trying to figure out how to remove the shroud, as in, you own one and need specific instruction? Or is this just a curiosity question? Anyway, Page 28 and page 29 and let me know if you need/want any more pages scanned...

Yep...already have one but I guess w/ the wrong manual.
I know the button up front near the forward sling mount will allow the entire unit to slide forward. But I'd have to remove the mount in order for the unit to be removed. I just want to get to know the rifle a little better in case I want to change up the optics. Thanks for the reply!! |
