I'm considering purchasing a TPS with C-More sight.  Anyone have anything bad to say about the weapon when compared to other available pump guns?  I've read that felt recoil seems to be higher than in some knoxx stocked guns.  Anything else?

Thanks in advance to the deep knowledge pool for assisting the FN newbie

In my opinion, when you look at the available shotguns, Rem 870, Mossberg 590A1, and i'll even throw in the Benelli SuperNova Tactical, the FN/Winchester 1300 takes a back seat, 1300's are okay, but I don't think they come close to 870's or 590's.

Get the M4 stock buttpad, it helps a lot with shoulder pain.  Other than that mine has tritium night sights and a 6 round side saddle.  Might eventually get the surefire grip weaponlight.  I tried a red dot but took it off and just stayed with the irons, with slugs and the AR sights its pretty accurate for a shotgun.

Here is how mine came out. It is a wonderful weapon! However it kicks like a mule. There is a solution to that problem with the new Enodine buffer tube that came out a while back for the Knox stock adapters. They claim a 70% reduction in felt recoil I will update this after I pick one up and give it a run. But all in all a wonderful weapon.

Cansler,

Very nice setup.  Which Surefire are you running on the forend, a 636?  Also, do you know if the Enidine Shot Shock will directly replace the TPS buffer tube, or will it need an adapter.  Is the TPS buffer tube Mil Spec?

Thanks,
Slowplay

Thanks! The forearm is a 636FA and from what the guy at Enodine and FN said they were all mil-spec so it should screw right in.

Cansler,

I hope you believe imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  I don't have pictures (wouldn't know how to upload them anyway) but used yours as inspiration.  Mine came with a TacStar side saddle.  I added the Surefire 636, an Enidine Shot Shock, Daniel Defense sling swivel, Ergo ambi grip, VLTOR modstock and buttpad.

It's nice!
