can this trigger be lightened at all? I was thinking 2 to 3 pounds. (yes I'm serious and no I wont change my mind and my reasons for wanting it are my own.)

I would Love to have a SAFE, crisp 2 to 3lb trigger for the FS2000.

It's not going to happen.  They get lighter and smoother with good lube and use, mine is down to about the same weight as my  SIG 556 after graphite lube and use, but they won't get down to 2 to 3 lbs in any way that's safe or legal.

If you have to have a 2 to 3lb trigger in a semi-auto 223 buy an AR-15 and one of several available triggers...........................DJ
