Has anyone mounted other buis on their FS2000 as an improvement over the stock buis? If so, what type and how did it work? Pictures? Thanks. amvet |

yes me, yankee hill YHM-9627 front flip up, and YHM-9680 REAR FLIP UP. Trying to get them to co-witness through my eotech by either mounting the eotech directly on the rail, or using a larue 1/4 inch rise with the eotech. Have to make another trip to the range to give you the final word on what actually works the best. The mounted after market BUIS's are higher than the stock one and the stock BUIS feels way more natural and more flush with the gun. Also the stock flip up is further back and in a better position since it's closer to your eye than you'll be able to mount an after market BUIS. I expected it to be the same as a AR15 but somehow it seems a little different due to the cheek weld and your line of sight on a Ar vs a FS2k. I will post pic.s once I have a exact answer |
