I took my new PS90 out for the first time yesterday, brought a 7/64 allen wrench and the manual so I could sight it in.

When I get to the range I see in the manual that sight adjustment instructions are detailed in the sight adjustment tool manual......... WTF?

So I figure I will find out through trial and error which clock direction is down/right etc.

Except that the allen screws arnt clicking. Hmmmm. So are they merely "locking" the slotted ring behind them? Do I need to buy the tool? Was my rifle supposed to come with this? Anyone have instructions for an improvised tool?

The ring sight is only staying on till I buy a rail so I can mount the Aimpoint I have laying around. Also what Aimpoint mount works the best with the rails? It looks like there will be clearance issues limiting what I can use.

Thanks in advance!

You don't need the adjustment tool. An allen wrench and a pocket screwdriver is all you need . The allen screw is more of a set screw. With the allen screw loose, use the screwdriver the turn the slotted spanner nut in the direction needed to adjust windage and elevation. Then use the screwdriver to hold the slotted spanner nut in place while you tighten the allen bot. Sorry but I don't remember the direction to turn the spanner to raise or lower. My stock sight lasted about a week.

FYI there is a guy on ebay selling a knock off of the factory sight tool complete with instructions for around 20.00 (instead of the OEM's 45.00) I got one and its great.
figured I would need one having just SBR'ed mine.
